Everett Food Bank almost out of food
If you live north of Seattle or don’t mind travellng in that direction, stop by the Everett Food Bank and drop off a donation of non-perishable food. They are particularly interested in soups, potatoes, canned tuna, peanut butter, beef stew, oatmeal, baby food, pasta and canned fruit, but any donation will be welcomed. A drop in regular donations means that the Everett Food Bank–which helps to feed over 2,500 hungry people a month–has substantially less food on hand to distribute to people who really need a helping hand.
You can drop off food donations at the food bank inside the Volunteers of American Building at 1230 Broadway in Everett. Donations of cash or checks are also very welcomed–they allow the organization to buy in bulk–and if you can’t make it by but would like to donate anyway, you can send a check to Volunteers of America, 1230 Broadway, Everett, WA 98201. Note on the check that the donation is for the Everett Food Bank.
