she’s back : africa mama on broadway again
Why, it seems like only yesterday [mb] that we were all expressing our shock that Africa Mama‘s going out of business sale concluded with the store shutting down and leaving Broadway. Less than two import-deprived months have passed, and like a phoenix rising from the ashes (or, as my friendly neighborhood barista said, “like Cher doing one last farewell tour“), Africa Mama has returned to Broadway to reclaiming briefly vacant storefront, no doubt planning for their next liquidation sale.
Seriously, what on earth is that about? How do they have any money left to stay open when they were selling things at 75-90% off for a month of more???
