Are you looking for something to do this weekend? Are you comfortable with crowds? Do you fancy munching your way through Seattle Center? If so, the Bite of Seattle might be for you.
The Bite of Seattle takes place Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Over 50 restaurants and 30 food product companies are participating. Some of the attractions after the jump.
This year’s attractions include:
- The Alley: $8.50 gets you a multi-course meal comprised of tastes from a variety of local restaurants. On Friday they include Palace Kitchen, El Camino, Ezell’s, Sorrentino Trattoria, Union Square Grill, and Iris Grill. Saturday’s lineup includes Dahlia Loungs, Andaluca, Salty’s, Sorrentino Trattoria, Union Square Grill, and Voltera. On Sunday you’ll enjoy selections from Lola, Salish Lodge and Spa, Sorrentino Trattoria, Crush, Troiani, and Voltera.
- Beer and Wine Garden: Admission to the 2007 Vines of Washington wine tasting is free. But you’ll pay $6.50 for two tastes and a souvenir glass. Each additional taste is $2.
- Cooking demonstration: the Bite Cooks brings a group of Seattle area chefs together for a stage show. There are 8 chefs each day in half hour shows.
The Bite of Seattle is bound to be packed, so if you’re lucky enough to have tomorrow off, head over there during the day before the rest of the city gets off work.
