choose your own advice : savage vs. seattleite

At last night’s meetup, someone mentioned the bizarre sensation of noticing that the questions posed to Seattle Weekly‘s “Ask an Uptight Seattleite” and the Stranger’s “Savage Love” column were exactly the same. See for yourself:

A rare moment of cooperation between Seattle’s usually obsessively competitive alt-weeklies a sign of the impending apocalypse? Do Dan Savage and the anonymous Uptight Seattleite hang out in the same bars and snoop on each other’s e-mail? Or might they be one and the same?

Although the backstory for this collaboration remains shrouded in mystery, it’s no surprise that the advice doled out to the GGG parent freaked out by her teenager’s porn habits, the threesome-weary girlfriend, and the less-than-well-endowed guy are completely different. Anyone else care to weigh-in with competing counseling on this week’s questions?
