Well, I thought that I had covered all of the local outdoor cinema in my previous post about it, but I was wrong.

As it happens, Pioneer Square has an outdoor film series as well that takes place in Occidental Park. Theirs starts on Friday, July 20 with a Harry Potter Release Party that includes a showing of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire at 9:15 pm. Elliot Bay Book Company opens at midnight to sell the 7th Harry Potter Book Harry Potter & the Deathly Hallows.

They will be showing the Lord of the Rings trilogy on three Thursdays in September:

Thursday, September 6 ~ The Fellowship of the Ring
Thursday, September 20 ~ The Two Towers
Thursday, September 27 ~ The Return of the King
