Somewhere in Virginia something called “feeder cable” was “blown” and now the whole Metroblogging network is threatening to be on strike today as far as new comments and posting goes. That this outage coincides with the end of Seattle’s tempermental weather is, of course, coincidental.

(You might ask how I am managing posting this bulletin? I have no idea, I think the striking servers are on their union-mandated protest break now.)
