  • The unstoppable forces of KEXP, Three Imaginary Girls, and SIFF unite tonight for the Face the Music party with Viva Voce and Jesse Sykes & the Sweet Hereafter. [neumos]
  • What would happen if ’60s girl groups started reading feminist literature, listening to riot grrl, and watching Sex and the City? You’d end up with The Pipettes, that’s what. Teen trio Smoosh open. Bonus: if the Chop Suey show is a bit past your bedtime, the Pipettes are also doing a free in-store at the Ballard location of Sonic Boom. [chop suey, sonic boom]
  • And just down the street from all this musical goodness, come say hi at the monthly Metroblogging Seattle meetup. We’ll be at the Elysian (1211 E. Pike) from 6pm until probably around 8pm. In case you don’t recognize our bright shining faces, ask for the table under my name.
  • SIFF ends Sunday, so catch it while you can. [mb, siff]
