I admit it, I was wrong. I was sure that all the cherry blossoms that I saw a few months ago were “show” blossoms only, and that the many trees in the neighborhood were only good for foliage. But a few days ago, as I was biking along the Sammamish River Trail, I saw a few pair of feet standing on branches of one of the urban cherry trees (the people were concealed in the leaves), and a couple of bags sitting at the base of the tree. Apparently, there’s fruit in them thar trees!
