Job Security

Here in Seattle, it isn’t too tough to get a job. In April, Seattle metro’s (defined as King and Snohomish counties) unemployment rate dropped to 3.8 percent–the lowest figure in 24 years. Statewide, the unemployment rate fell to a record low at 4.4 percent–the first time in nearly a decade that it dropped below the national level. In fact, there are 1,454,000 of us employed in the metro area. [seattletimes]

However, if there happens to still be ANY unemployed writing or editing types left out there, now’s your chance to lower these statistics even more! It looks as if a potential presidential candidate needs an assistant:

Apply now! Don’t put off till tommorrow what you can do today!

I’ve been out of work since 2/1.

Thanks for making me feel worse, Jeanna. =)

Who’s ‘Tom Morrow’, and why does he need so many jobs anyway?
Any relation to Rob Morrow, the guy from the 90’s series ‘Northern Exposure’?

Dude, I’m personal friends with Rob Morrow, and he changed his name to Tom in hopes of shedding his typecast from Northern Exposure. He’s been unemployed since the 90s! Hopefully Hilary can help him out.

Except for that whole Numb3rs show, that, for some reason, is popular. =)
