“join the Furry 5k to raising money for animals [alexgarcia]” EXCELL “(ed note: not furries [wiki])”.. oh. Never mind.

I’m just looking out for you. Although it would be something really special if a bunch of Furries took over the Furry5K, wouldn’t it?

It’d be as lovely as finding a RSS Reader I like that tells me when the posts are updated with a new comment (since I couldn’t seem to convince metblogging central that a seperate comment feed would be a good idea).

depending on your reader, this RSS feed might be a not-terribly efficient workaround –>

    http://feeds.feedburner.com/MetrobloggingSeattle

It includes the comments; so your RSS reader might be able to notice when additional comments are made.

That’d be the feed I use, and no, my reader doesn’t have a ‘Show Unread and Updated Items’ option. Google Reader doesn’t, newsgator online doesn’t. SharpReader does do it, showing updated posts in italics, but it doesn’t have an online storage option.
