Bank robbery second in one week

Police and FBI agents currently are searching a neighborhood in West Seattle for a man who allegedly robbed a US Bank this afternoon at 12:30. Seattle police are sending out tracking dogs to hunt him down.

The robber was said to have passed a demand note to the teller and then left with an undisclosed amount of cash. The bank is located near the intersection of SW Edmonds Street and California Avenue SW in West Seattle. [seattletimes]

Given our spring weather (minus today’s 70+ degrees), it seems more than one Seattle resident is taking extreme measures to go on vacation…

Could this be linked to the bank robbery that happened in Madison Park last week? [mb]

So THAT’s what the cop who stopped me and asked what I was doing walking up Admiral Way in the middle of the day was looking for! He said I “sort of” matched the description of someone they were looking for. (Apparently there’s some “sort of” very handsome man robbing banks in Seattle….)
