all the Theo news that’s fit to print

Let me start this off with by saying, yes, I am aware that I have an unhealthy preoccupation with Theo Chocolates [#]. And yes, I do know that I can go other places and eat other things. But why would I want to? The chocolates, they are so yummy and they are so responsible.

Ahem. So anyway, as Patricia mentioned before [mb], Whole Pay(no, I’m not going to do it) Foods offers reasonably priced classes at their stores. And tonight(!) at the Roosevelt Square store, Theo’s chocolatier extraordinaire, Autumn Martin, will be hosting a class entitled, Sweet and Savory Dishes. They could have put a little more marketing into that title. I mean, a four course meal with chocolate featured in each dish and all they can come up with is Sweet and Savory? Let’s go with the title I got in my email from Theo: Chocolate in every course, of course! Oh yeah, that’s more like it. The class is 6:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m., includes the aforementioned four course chocolate spiked meal plus wine for only $35. Call or visit Whole Foods to sign up (206.985.1500/wf).

In other Theo news, albeit late news, Theo has joined Fremont’s First Friday Art Walk. Go for the art, stay for the chocolate samples. If you missed it last Friday (like I did - stupid sore throat) pencil in Fremont on June 1st. [fff] I would tell you how to get on the mailing list so you could cut out the middleman and thereby NOT miss things like Theo at FFF, but, to be honest, I don’t know how I got on the list…I mean I suspect it’s because I ordered chocolates online over Christmas, but I can’t be 100% sure. So, um, there you have it. So helpful, I know!
