Free comic book day!
| Today’s a great day just chock full of reasons to celebrate: not only is it Cinco de Mayo, it’s also Free Comic Book Day. For the sixth year in a row, independent comic book stores all over the world give you a chance to see what all the fuss is when it comes to comics by giving you one of your very own for free. We’re lucky to have a number of great comics stores in the Seattle area who are participating in the event: | ![]() |

Comics are a great art form that encompasses everything from simple stories to entertain young children to thought-provoking literature presented in a myriad of manners. If you’re not already a fan–or if you’ve been one in the past, but given it up–stop by one of these stores to see what you’ve been missing. If you’re already a fan of comics, well, you don’t need the reminder. If you do stop by, let me know what comics you get and what you think of them.
