Jumping for Joy

The Pacific Chorus Frog is jumping for joy this week, having recently be signed on to be the official amphibian of Washington State. Governor Christine Gregoire signed this bill yesterday, making a class of Boston Harbor elementary school students, who proposed the bill, very happy. Less happy was anyone who thought perhaps our governor should pick an official state mode of transportation down the waterfront. Gregoire pointed out that this was a ‘One Washington frog’ as it is found in all 39 counties in the state. In a later interview with Kermit, he mentioned that he too felt he was a ‘One Washington frog’ as he had left droppings in all 39 counties in the state.
