apologies for the light inotherblogging over the past few days, but I spent the weekend partaking in the glory of Coachella and the semi-regular roundup stowed away to join the fun. I’m sure I missed something, but here are some items that popped up in the aggregator today:

  • short track speed skating Olympian, star dancer, and single Seattleite Apolo Anton Ohno is now a hall of famer, too. [times]
  • saving the ozone layer and being able to litter your keyboard with donut crumbs has a serious climate cost [sightline]
  • the high-tech reason for orange banner that occupied the space needle [buzzworthy]
  • Sanjaya conspiracy theories! [canoe]
  • for Knute Berger, it’s always 1964 [crosscut]
  • the end of the pink [cascadiasong]
  • three ingredients from happy cycling [defectiveyeti]
  • Rainbow, however, not quite beloved enough for CHS HoF [capitolhillseattle]
  • the Divorce broke-up, now they’re working on casseroles, among other projects [reverb]
