This weekend is a bad time to drive to or through the University District. Road work along 45th between I-5 and 15th is creating a traffic nightmare. Alternate modes of transportation are highly recommended. While the road work is a fairly sizeable inconvenience, the net gain is worth it. Those who travel along 45th will no longer have to worry about disappearing into the archipelago-like recessed wormholes that disguise themselves as potholes. I hit one today that I think may have loosened a tooth.
