| The Pike Place Market [Market] turns 100 this year and the celebration goes on all year. It starts today at noon when Mayor Greg Nickels says a few words under the Market clock at the Pike Street entrance. Tomorrow is the tenth annual Daffodil day: celebrate the start of spring by stopping by the market between noon and 1:30 to get a free daffodil. The Market’s Centennial Bash is scheduled for August 17th, but you can look forward to other events between then and now. |
