• While confessing to masterminding the 11 September 2001 attacks during enemy combatant hearings in Guantanamo, Khalid Sheikh Mohammed made up a whole bunch of other targets just to make the rest of the country feel important, too. For Seattle, he apparently hadn’t studied up on the geography of potential terror targets; so he just made something up that sounded kind of official.
