suspicious substance freaks out greyhound, city avoids sperm-induced panic
Last week we all had a good laugh at Boston and their citywide terror caused by Aqua Teen Hunger Force. While they revealed their fear of light-up cranky cartoon characters, Seattle had it’s own moment of terror revelation, too. It turns out that we’re freaked out by steaming containers, particularly when they show up at the bus station, and are packed full of sperm. The item, in full, simply because it’s short and pure comedy gold:
Sperm Shipment Behind Bus Depot Evacuation
The Greyhound Bus Depot in Seattle was evacuated Sunday afternoon because of a sperm shipment. Seattle police and Hazmat crews rushed to the bus depot at Stewart Street and 8th Avenue because someone found a suspicious substance inside one of the buses. The depot was quickly evaucated as crews rushed to investigate. It turns out there was no emergency. Investigators determined the substance was liquid nitrogen which was being used to preserve a shipment of sperm. [q13]
Let’s all breathe a sigh of relief that this didn’t induce citywide panic. Because as funny as the press conference for the Boston aftermath was, I don’t think that any of us needed to see city officials explaining this situation.
