The biggest surprise of the preliminary round wasn’t John Moe pulling away from a feisty challenge by Glitter Pissing, or Jason Fortuny making a game of it this afternoon after jameth had long since run away with the poll. It was the Daily Weekly’s vote total.

Two. As in, they received exactly two votes out of the more than 200 cast.

Perhaps the Seattle Weekly people should ask themselves if they’re really cut out to blog. This poor showing reflects weakly on them. Get it? Weakly? You know, like Weekly, only… oh, never mind.

Congratulations to Monkey Disaster, West Seattle Blog, and jameth on moving into the First Round. Everyone else, we still love you.
