If you drink your paycheck away at the Summit, think anyone who doesn’t ride a fixed-gear [wiki] is a poser, worry about getting doored, or have grease stains on one (and only one) of your pant legs then Cranked Magazine is definitely for you. Cranked is a Seattle-based quarterly devoted to urban bicycling and the culture and community it inspires. Issue 5, the one-year anniversary edition, is set to hit the virtual newsstand in February. In the meantime, keep up with the latest goings-on in the community via the Cranked Blog [CLOG] and pre-order issue 5 for a chance to win a Cranked-inspired wheelset.

All I have to say is fixed gears are some heavy duty shit, especially in the city. Wow! I must say that I give kudos to those I see around town, especially in the U-District, busting their ass up a hill on a fixed gear. My heart goes out for you!
Fixed-gear enthusiasts are a little…off. I say that with all due respect.
(psst. that’s me on the left with the blue bike. pass it on.)
You could read my trailer hitch how-to in that issue, too!
Yes, February is here, and Cranked will be too, just a couple more weeks longer for the print shop to turn it out. Virtual and traditional newsstands shortly thereafter! Constantly adding to this list.
And the wheelset raffle is still open too, cut off date for that is the 12th of February.
