Wednesday Agenda: Scholars and charity
I’m hosting Thanksgiving tomorrow, so I’ll be home tonight peeling potatoes and chopping parsnips in preperation. If you’ve got nothing to do tomorrow but make a salad and show up looking pretty, here’s what you should be doing tonight:
I’ve been telling you all to get behind the local hip hop scene for ages, and it looks like someone listened: tonight’s all-ages Blue Scholars show is sold out [Showbox]. Stand outside and try to buy tickets before DJ Sabzi and Geologic get started–it’s always worth it. Plus, you never know who else from Mass Line is going to show up onstage.
Trinity Nightclub is hosting their second food drive/dance party tonight [Trinity]. It’s a free event with a buffet and a raffle, although since their goal is to raise 2006 pounds of nonperishable food you might want to come by with a few cans of something. Doors are at 9:00, and after the food and the raffle DJ Scene, Risk One, and Mr. Supreme will be providing the party sound track. All the food and money goes to Northwest Harvest.

What the hell is a “scolar”?
Now honestly, couldn’t you think of a more polite way to say, “Hey samantha, I think you made a typo”?
