  • Metroblogging Seattle takes a field trip to Ravenna! We’ll be meeting at Pies and Pints for our usual 2nd Thursday meetup. If you like some combination of pizza, beer, and us, drop by to say hello, chat us up, harrass us, find out about writing for the site, buy us a pitcher, or just admire C Ro’s lamination skills.   • Viva Voce helped sell out the Crocodile a couple weeks ago [mb]. Today Salon says of their new album, “sounds like Yo La Tengo taking on stoner rock.” [#] See and hear for yourself at a free after work in-store at Easy Street Records. [bmh]

    When is Viva Voce doing an in-store at Easy Street? I don’t see it listed on their site anywhere.
