Weekend Agenda: pop music and art shows
Hello, rainy weekend. You could stay home and order pizza this weekend, but why don’t you save that for when it’s been raining for a few weeks:
Friday:
I know that you weren’t at their album release show because I didn’t see you there, so why not stop by Cafe Venus and the Mars Bar to see Central Services?
Saturday:
I stopped listening to them after “Boy Named Goo” came out, so I didn’t know the Goo Goo Dolls were playing at the Paramount (or, uh, playing at all anymore)[upcoming]. Don’t judge.
Oh, you know you’re going to go see Borat at Pacific Place, so why not go tonight?
Or, head to the Crawl Space’s fundraiser and support interesting art in a little room [slog]. Seriously, I love the Crawl Space.
Sunday:
I’m still mad at them for the no Matt Brooke-saxophone-Rolling Stones cover hat trick they perpetrated at the Capitol Hill Block Party, but those of you who don’t hold grudges might still be able to get tickets for Band of Horses at the Showbox.
The crazy choreographed video in a garden was made twelve times better by treadmills, and now Ok Go! at Neumos is sold out. They’re a pretty catchy band, too.
