I don’t spend a whole lot of time in Volunteer Park, so I was a little surprised to come across the Dahlia garden during a stroll yesterday. (Dahlia are our city flower, even though they’re originally from Mexico.) It’s maintained by the Puget Sound Dalia Association, and even though it’s past the end of their season the plants are still blooming away.
