Special Saturday Agenda: Indiepop extravaganza!
Tomorrow night is going to be a good one for fans of lovely Seattle indiepop. (Read: me.) The Sunset is where you should be tomorrow for Math and Physics Club’s record release show.
I’ve already told you how much I like BOAT, one of the show’s openers. They get better every time I see them, and with their new fourth member I imagine they’re going to be just that much more fun. (Although they will be without sometimes guest personality Corianton Hale, who is in France.) Also, of course, they’re genuinely nice guys.
But the part that’s got me so excited is the new MAPC album. We’d all hoped that last summer would provide a full-length follow up to the band’s first EP, Weekends Away, and while I love the EP that eventually emerged (Movie Ending Romance), I wanted more than four new songs. And now I will have them, since the debut LP has 10. I’m excited beyond coherence. As usual.
Also playing will be The Seaworthies. Doors are at 9:00, $7 cover. I will see you there.

Poor The Seaworthies. They’re just a casual afterthought to your fangirly geeking out.
Perhaps The Seaworthies will win my heart and I will apologetically geek out over them as well on Sunday.
