PSA: Stealing is bad. Stop it.
Seriously, people? Last week, a number of someones broke into food banks in Tukwila and Auburn, as well as St. Joseph’s Baby Corner, stealing baby supplies, meat, and some computer equipment. And then! Set off fire extinguishers and ruined most of the rest of the stored food in the Auburn food bank [P-I]. That was low, folks.
But now someone new broke into Animal Talk on Roosevelt and stole some lizards, killed a bunch of rodents, and let the cats out of their cages. “Cages had been opened or flipped upside down. About a dozen lizards were missing, including eight geckos, a ball python and Buddy, an iguana whose glass cage had been smashed with a rock. Six cats were seriously injured, having either been beaten or drop-kicked [P-I].” Buddy the iguana is known to bite, and anyone that’d kick kitties would probably kick an iguana, too.
Doesn’t this sort of thing usually happen closer to Christmas? Are people doing their Christmas stealing early this year? Honestly, Seattle, stealing is bad. Quit it.

srsly, truly low and disgusting. I’m glad so many people have stepped forward to help. Now for better alarms and door security, or at least the ability to shock *to death* anybody who breaks into these places. Ah, but that costs money. And is probably illegal…
Free Ranging Pit Bulls, perhaps?
People are drop-kicking kittens?!?!?!??!?!!?!
There are no words for how horrible that is…
Steph, that’s the place that had the cutest one-eyed pirate kitty in the universe. Fortunately, he’s already been adopted out.
