last minute sunday agenda: seattle center

A couple of inadvertent omissions to the weekend agenda to bring your down to Seattle Center:

  • Robothon: people who love robots and the robots who love them. Meeting, greeting, competing at the Center House until 5 pm.
  • Scoop up some free tickets for local theater at the Fisher Pavillion by 4:30. As a prelude to their Live Theatre Week (16 to 22 October), Seattle Performs is holding a kick-off party with snacks, guest speakers, and performances from arch rival comedy troupes Unexpected Productions and Jet City Improv. [seattleperforms]

Sorry for the late notice, but you still have a few hours to redeem your afternoon. (thanks to shane for the tip [lj]). Just imagine the possibilities if these two groups, after their respective events were to run into each other in a bar: free theater performed entirely by robots! The future starts here.
