grey’s anatomy : i wish i knew how to quit you
Last week, Grey’s Anatomy launched into its third pseudo-Seattle-related season, picking up minutes after the last one left off. Metroblogging Seattle dropped the ball on continuing our proud tradition of hectically-typed recaps, on the premise that streaming web video made text-based locally-written play-by-plays a thing of the not-so-distant past. Since then, a couple people have written to ask when the recaps will return.
Right now they’re in a light coma, but still potentially revivable. What do you think? Do you want them back so that you can have a local virtual water cooler to gather around and dissect the fictional doctors of our fair city? Take the poll and we’ll re-evaluate whether they’re worth bringing back before it’s too late.
Choose wisely, the fate of my Thursday evenings rests in your hands.

Hi I’m from Argentina and the new season of grey’s anatomy will start here only in nov. So please do the recaps!!!!!!!!!!
Please, please keep us updated with your recaps! I live in Denmark where we havent even finished the second season yet, so you are my weekly injection of vitamins… Plus, your recap-style is quite a lot better than the rest thats offered online since you have a good, healthy ironic distance to the show. But really, I would be gratified (know it’s a bit sad, but what the f***)if you would continue….!
Maybe a shorter version?
I really like when you point out the inconsistencies, Josh.

I voted No because there are plenty of other sites (like Television Without Pity) where someone can find recaps of the show. And sometimes I tape the show and watch it the next day, and it’s sort of hard to avoid spoilers on the RSS feed.
Keep, please. I watch the show, but I come here for the snark and editorializing from a Seattle resident perspective.
I already bombarded you via personal email, but I heartily agree with dantc–I (and everyone else) can watch the show live, or tape it, or watch the streaming video (those from foreign countries, can you do this?), but it’s just not the same as reading your commentary. And the nicknames!
