apple sees amazon’s unbox, raises with new tech

Amazon put movies for (legal) download on the internet first with Unbox, but Apple is out splashing them with today’s multi-tech announcement: movies from the iTunes Music Store, iPod upgrades, and a yet unnamed $299 device to stream all of that video to your television expected early next year.     Apparently, they’re thinking of calling it the iTV.

    It’s cute enough, but most of the coverage I read said that “iTV” was being used only for internal purposes.
