Sport at Fisher Plaza: Buckeye Country

There is a place to call home in Seattle for we who prefer ‘scarlet and gray’ to ‘purple and gold’. Sport at Fisher Plaza plays host to the Ohio State Alumni Association every game day. Buckeye flags go up, ‘Hang On Sloopy‘ blasts out of the speaker system, and nearly everyone is decked out in their favorite jersey. One step into the dining area is a veritable warp into Columbus itself. Many thanks go to Steve Hastings, humble leader of the Alumni Association in Seattle for making this happen every week.

Last night’s victory over #2 Texas was especially sweet. Go Bucks!

Ach, I almost went down there (I’ve attended lots in the past), but I’ve been out of town for nearly 2 weeks (including playing with the alumni band last weekend), so I watched at home instead. I’m surprised the neighbors didn’t call the cops over my screeching.

I agree that it’s a lot more fun behaving that way with other sickos. To my credit, I didn’t burn any furniture in the parking strip.
