- The weather looks like it will be absolutely appropriate for the Decemberists to play a show at the Zoo tonight. Perfectly overcast and autumnal with a minor chance of precipitation. Or maybe it’s just me being jealous of the lucky people who got tickets for the show [mb] and will probably get to hear a bunch of their new songs while the rest of us are stuck waiting for their new album to come out in October. It’s little consolation, this not sitting outside in the cold, but it’s all I’ve got. [zoo]
- Another option is a public meeting in the Roosevelt neighborhood to hear all about how & why City Light is planning to bring in a tribe of goats to clear an acre of overgrown shrubbery in North Seattle. [times]
