cantwell’s webads pay off

Someone at the Cantwell office must be patting themselves on the back this morning for their web advertising strategy:

Having her face all over all of the local news pages is eventually bound to show up next to an article describing the weird kabuki of having a retiring majority leader into town to campaign for her opponent so that they can sort-of disagree about the war.

Elsewhere, Josh Feit calls foul on the newly added footnotes on McGavick’s positioning on the war [slog].

    Maybe so, but it’s not like the Cantwellers are early adopters here: McGavick had an online banner ad atop many Seattle Times/P-I pages last week. And you didn’t have to scroll down to see them.

    I agree. I’m not saying that webads are particularly groundbreaking, just that the placement here was fortuitous.
