Puget Sound Pirate Festival
This Saturday August 6th 5th the Seattle Swashbucklers will be attending the Puget Sound Pirate Festival. Events will include sword fighting demonstrations, live music and an array of vendors (who are probably very much like the SCA merchants.) and treasure hunts for children.
However, the most exciting event in my opinion is the tour and ride on the Lady Washington. You might recognize her as the HMS Interceptor from the film Pirates of the Caribbean. I don’t think they offer a lot of chances for land lubbers to ride this replica of the old 1700s ship so it’s a good time to take advantage of it.
10AM – 6PM
Admission to the event is free, the ride on the Lady Washington might not be.

August 6th is Sunday. Just thought you might want to change that.
So is the event free? And the rides on the ship free too? I can’t google anymore info than what you have.
When do we get our loggers-and-whores festival?
I’m working on it, Eldan. Change takes time. In the meantime, feel free to show up at the pirate festival dressed as a logger or whore.
Thanks J! Yes I did mean the 5th. I’ll update that now!
From the flyer it looks like admission is free but I sadly could not find anything more about the Lady Washington’s visit. I am hoping it is a donation only kind of thing. I’m looking forward to it though!
