Looks like there was some sort of chemical spill at the UW Medical Center sometime this afternoon, in the health center’s “K” wing, wherever the heck that is [komo]. According to the news: “One woman who came into contact with the mix of chemicals reportedly suffered skin burns and was taken to Harborview Medical Center for treatment. The chemicals reportedly include acids.”
The labs are closed down until the hazmat folks clean things up and make sure everything is ok.
