a pledge drive of sorts for metroblogging
Hi there, gentle readers. As I mentioned earlier this month, Metroblogging Seattle is currently in a recruitment of new authors phase. If you like reading the site and commenting on our posts, but feel like the site is missing a little bit of you, this would be the time to dash over to central command to drop off some of your personal information in the application form:
The major requirement is that you live in Seattle and have lots of ideas and enthusiasm for writing about the city. Certainly we’re probably neglecting some of the gems of your neighborhood, your favorite music, or your witty observations about life around town. This deficiency can be easily remedied by you making a few posts a week. You only have until the end of the month to throw your name into the virtual hat; so get clicking!
Questions, comments, opinions? Drop an e-mail to seattle.metblogs (at) gmail.com and we’ll see what we can do to help.

Perhaps you’d just like an additional MySpace friend? You’re in luck — Metroblogging has just leapt into the early twenty-first century by setting up a brand new profile for the whole network. Of course, the network is hungry for friends; so check it out:
For now it’s a profile for the whole wide world of Metrobloggery; drop in to help Seattle represent.
