Breaking news: bomb scare at Colman Dock
My boyfriend is currently on one of two ferries in a holding pattern off the Colman Dock (a.k.a. the downtorn ferry terminal) while police and coast guard officers deal with an explosives scare. According to KIRO7, a bomb-sniffing dog smelled something verrrry interesting in a SUV — something in addition to the fireworks sitting on the seat — and, as a result, the driver has been arrested and the area has been evacuated.
Sounds like the aftermath is going to last for hours. So much for our dinner plans.
