Filter Magazine has a little mention about how Dave Bazan, genius songwriter of Pedro the Lion, is officially hanging up his Pedro hat and going fully solo [#]. He’ll be releasing a new EP in a few weeks and is currently touring to support it. Looks like he’ll still be playing with Headphones, though.

Did you know that Queensryche is a Seattle-based band? (For that matter, did you know that Queensryche was even still around?) I didn’t, but apparently they are, and they were arrested in the Netherlands on Monday for trying to smuggle ileegal firearms [UPI]. Idiots.
