scoble moves on
Big time Microsoft-based ‘blogger Robert Scoble (scobleizer.wordpress.com) is leaving the lovely local software giant to get into the vlog [really a word] scene for podtech.net. Sure, vlog sounds even funnier than blog, but if even your mother has learned how to put podcasts on her mp3 player “vlogging” could really be the wave of the future.
But maybe you’re wondering if this is really about Scoble hating Microsoft or Microsoft hating Scoble. The short answer, from an eight-point memo (soon to be a PowerPoint presentation?) is a resounding “no”:
First, I love Microsoft and Microsoft did not lose me — at least as a supporter and friend. I am not throwing away my Tablet PC or my Xbox or my other Microsoft stuff. :-) [scobleizer]
I guess this means one fewer celebrity weblogger in Seattle.
