block party planning

Chillblockparty

It’s more than two months away, but I guess that people who plan their weekends months in advance might like to clear the last weekend of July for the Capitol Hill Block Party, which goes down on the 28th and 29th. A partial schedule was announced today, featuring Band of Horses and Seattle Weekly coverboys, the Divorce:

Friday, July 28: Pretty Girls Make Graves, Band of Horses, Himsa, Thee Emergency, The Cops, Big Business, Tall Birds, Macklemore, Math & Physics Club, Abyssinian Creole, The Lonely H

Saturday, July 29: Common Market, Silversun Pickups, The Black Angels, Schoolyard Heroes, Minus The Bear, Sera Cahoon, Speaker Speaker, Greyskull, The Divorce, Neon Blonde, Ladyshack

Tickets go onsale this weekend for $10. I assume this is per day, but it’s not especially clear from the website.
