a year of covers : the stranger
Thinking about the covers of Seattle Weekly’s Music Issue led me to wonder what the last year of covers looked like at the Stranger. This is the answer:

Fifty-three covers are shown (19 May 2005 – 11 May 2006) from the online archives [stranger] because two covers were published for the Valentine’s Day issue. Although the austere blue siding that graced the cover of the issue following the murderous shooting spree on Capitol Hill is likely to be the most memorable, I think that my favorite of the batch is the lion from the following week.
