thar she blows! bumbershoot lineup spotted
It’s not just the peaking cherry blossoms that remind us that spring is well on it’s way. It’s also the first hints of a Bumbershoot lineup to let us know that the seasons are changing. Take a long look and start strategizing and speculating: the festival is only three days this year.

So far, the above the fold [billboard] names on the music front are Kanye West, a Tribe Called Quest, along with indie favorites Mates of State, Feist, Of Montreal, and Metric. There will be more comedy and more hipster craft items for purchase, too. And of course, the lineup is still preliminary; so new acts will still be added and existing acts could completely cancel their tours.

Out of sheer laziness I skipped recent Of Montreal and Metric shows — how am I ever going to learn if such behavior is rewarded by the chance to see them at Bumbershoot?
Also v. excited to see Nouvelle Vague and the ROLLER DERBY!
I missed them for travel reasons, so I’m definitley glad they’ll be back this summer!
