Today tne Seattle Times reports that housing costs are on the rise in the Puget Sound Region. [article]

Snohomish County showed the biggest year-over-year median price increase at 20.3 percent for single family homes and condominiums combined. King County’s median price increased about $40K. Pierce and Kitsap counties showed increases of $23K or more.

On the other hand, sales were down by five percent area-wide, probably due to a lack of houses for sale.
