Roy Lichtenstein, The Reverie, 1965 (detail).

Opening this Friday at the Henry Art Museum: an exhibition of prints by über pop artist Roy Lichtenstein (1923-1997). The opening gala sounds like a good party …

Between 8 and 11 pm on Friday February 24th, eat, drink and view Lichtensteins at the Henry amidst a smorgasbord of pop performance. From the flyer:

DJ AMS (mass mvmt)

TAP EXPLOSION starts the evening off with a bang. Their highly-combustible footwork may blow your mind.

Prance to the spontaneously-created pop songs with the statistical stylings of the VIS-A-VIS SOCIETY.

Dynamic 80′s dance duo FANKICK! will have you begging for more with their high hicks and tongue-in-cheek humor.

While you’re there, check out 150 Works, a cross-section of the Henry’s permanent collection that closes on February 26th.
