Super Bowl party not feeling quite nerdy enough? Is the crowd around your television a few ‘bloggers short? Dan Savage’s football newbie slogging not doing it for you? The Seattle Post-Intelligencer pre-felt your pain and aims to ease it with a healthy dose of football fans weblogging it up throughout the festivities [p-i].

That’s not to say that you shouldn’t occasionally tune in here. For my part, I’ll be on the emptiest Seattle to Amsterdam flight of all time. But I’m sure that the rest of the Metroblogging Seattle gang will do their best to keep you up to date on bean dip reports, elected official sports bets, halftime show reactions, and camphone shots of the post-game reaction on the streets as they develop.
