Our foreign correspondent

Cat Koehn, a local nonprofit director (and one of my best friends) has just moved to Kenya for a year or so as a volunteer to help with community building and setting up a solid volunteer program. Her village is near the Uganda border and is currently without electricity, but she’ll be blogging from Africa whenever she gets the chance.

I can’t wait for pictures of giraffes to start showing up.
