Let’s all just pause for a moment to thank the Seattle Times for continuing to keep “phat” in the popular lexicon with this headline: “Horizontal corduroys make you look phat” [#]. While we’re at it, let’s add an extra demerit for their failure to mention the Corduroy Appreciation Club, which might be holding its next meeting on 11 January 2006 [nyer].
