While some of you plan your New Year’s Eve, others are busy planning jumping into cold, cold water on New Year’s Day, in the region’s annnual Polar Bear Swim. The Seattle Times has a list ^[1] of good places to go, if you’re into that sort of thing.

Me? I plan on being toasty and warm under the blankets with my kitties New Year’s Morning, contemplating nothing colder than whether or not I want to microwave leftover coffee or make a new pot…
