This spring, the Stranger started a little weblog [slog]. In the slog’s infancy, readers with something to say about a post had no outlet other than trying to e-mail the poster. Later, during an awkward teenage phase, each post included a link to their forums so that people could enter a parallel discussion universe to start their own threads to chatter about the weblog’s content.

As of this morning, they finally enabled a real-live commenting system, in which comments are tied directly to posts. This is like an early Chrismukkah present for all of the people who thrive on the endless cycle of commenting on commentary.
