Santa Clones are coming to town

Who’s in charge? SANTA
Who are you with? SANTA
What organization are you with? SANTA
Who organized this? SANTA
Where did you get the buses? SANTA
Who’s that woman? SANTA
Who’s that guy? SANTA
How did you get here? A sleigh and eight tiny reindeer.

I’m coincidentally going to be roaming the streets of Seattle this Saturday, and apparently I will hardly be able to miss a convention of Santa all hanging out and having a good time. Starting from noon, Santa will be hanging around in Ballard, eating, playing with toys, and bowling. Santa may also participate in the Ballard Artwalk (is it that time again?)

Santa intends to invade the bus system in order to get down to the Seattle Center, and will probably end the night, partying at SeaCompression.

Have you told your kid that there’s only one Santa? Now’s the time to change your story.

I’m sad that I’m going to miss Santarchy this year–normally I participate. But I’ll be back up at 826 on Saturday, and then in Ballard for Tweefest after they’ve already moved downtown.

Hah! If my kid can handle a zombie Santa holding his own intestines, I don’t think I’ll have anything to worry about. (That is, apart from the worries that might result from having a kid who can handle the idea of a zombified, eviscerated Santa…)
